Cveto Marsic, slovenian painter, since many years in Lisbon, is undoubtedly one of most interesting names of the contemporary young materic painting scene. During the last years, museums, foundations and european public spaces have shown particular attention to his art.

Just after two important exhibitions, one at the Foundation Don Luis I in Cascais and the other one at the Palacio Revillagigedo of Gijon, Asturia (the foundation has published a big monography dedicated to his last 15 years of work), on Friday September 12th, the Galleria Torbandena, his Italy sole agent, will present Na terra do mar, a sort of ideal continuation of his last exhibition in Gijon.

Cveto will propose a wide serie of new canvases, some of them realized purposely for show at the Torbandena, others already exposed at the Palacio Revillagigedo and just published in Na terra do mar , the catalogue, realized from the Cajastur Foundation in occasion of his asturian show.

In the same time, the work of Cveto is on show in an anthological review at the Pablo Goebel Gallery in Mexico City.

The exhibition will close on October 17, 2003.
