ONE - BLACK - SHOW
Torbandena Gallery presents ONE Ð BLACK Ð SHOW, an exhibition focused on the variations of the black colour in contemporary art.
A recent large canvas of Anselm Kiefer, the only one Notturno of the last years, will be shown besides black works by Paul Klee, Edmondo Dobrzanski, Gao Xingjian, Gonzalo Gonzalez, Manuela Sedmach, Cveto Marsic, Thomas Müller, Carlos Lizariturry, Hubert Scheibl, Antoni Tápies and John Lurie, the musician and actor (Jim Jarmusch's movies: Stranger than Paradise, Down by Law) from Minneapolis.
The gallery's upstairs space will be dedicated to the contemporary photography, with a tribute to the black and white works of Robert Mapplethorpe.
